PEDIGREE                 SHOW RESULTS

Womble came to join us at 8 weeks old in 2006. We had waited 2 years for his arrival and he is worth every moment of that wait. Womble is so loveable, he adores cuddles and sitting on Mummy's lap even now! He's a very enthusiastic dog, doing everything at full speed. On walks he has to be out front and his pulling power is immense. Channelling that power in the right direction is sometimes challenging but his smile is so contagious.

Womble has done very well in the show ring. He has one Challenge Certificate after winning Best Dog at the Scottish Kennel Club Show 2010 and a Reserve Challenge Certificate from the National Working & Pastoral Breeds Show in 2012 under judge Terry Munro. He gained his KC Stud Book number by winning 1st in limit class at Crufts 2009 and won Best Junior in Show at the AMCUK Champ Show in 2007 under world renowned judge Nancy Russell of Storm Kloud Malamutes. After being handled by his breeder Walt Howarth for a while, he is now handled by Marina Page of Cedarcreek Kennels and Alanna Blaney of Fenrirkin Malamutes.

Womble works very well in harness and has teamed up with several bitches to run rallies. He won 1st place in the 80-100lbs class in the 08/09 Allerton Park Weight Pull Championships and again in the 11/12 season and holds his WWPDX title. In March 2010 he completed his WTD title by trekking over 40 miles over 4 events and he is well on the way to completing his WPD and WLD titles.

In October 2010, Womble sired a litter of 6 healthy puppies, all beautiful and doing well in their homes. His son Logan won his class at Crufts 2012, his daughter Xhanxi has her stud book number, his son Hunter is proving very good at weight pulling and his daughter Willow is out and about in harness at competitive rallies. We are also extremely proud that Womble has been selected to join breeding plans for kennels in the US and we hope that in time we will be able to report on his progeny overseas!
