Kizzy joined the pack from the United States. Bred by our friends Jen and George Leveille of Powderhound Alaskan Malamutes, Kizzy is a gorgeous girl with a character to match her beauty. She is already a force to be reckoned with on the working scene, confident carrying her backpack, happy with her weight pull skills and already out on the trail with her family where she has been a team member and ran single lead at 6 months of age! We can't thank Jen and George enough for letting Kizzy join our family and for the work they have put into her training.
After a bit of a false start due to Joan's broken leg, Kizzy has fully embraced her working roots gaining her WWPDX in just 9 competitions and also holding the UK record pull for a bitch at 2400lbs. She has her WTD title started - and has become the first Malamute in the UK to hold a KC Rally Obedience title.
Kizzy comes from an incredible working background, her Powderhound and Snoquest relatives excel in the working disciplines and all go back to Storm Kloud kennels, her pedigree speaks for itself. Her Grandmother is "Bella" BVIS Storm Kloud's As Good As It Gets WWPDX WTD WPD WLD ROMWDX who is a well known name in the working disciplines and a proven producer of working progeny. Her maternal grandfather is the one and only BIS BISS Multi Ch Storm Kloud's Qquest For Glory WTD ROM owned by Gloria Urbani and Kizzy also has Iditarod team members as close as 3 generations back. Having been lucky enough to meet her close family, I can confirm that temperament is sound and has certainly been passed onto Kizzy! In fact, this little girl has humans sussed completely and can use her irresistible charms to get anything she wants!
